Job summary

Qualifications

• To qualify you must have a Master’s degree in social work.
• Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) in NYS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required at the time of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and age-related criteria for assigned patients.
• Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments at intake and during treatment.
• Provide accurate assessments and diagnosis.
• Perform treatment and crisis intervention.
• Involve family/significant others to provide comprehensive care.
• Request consultations from treatment team psychiatrist or nurse practitioner when needed.
