La Causa, Inc. Charter School in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time, bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist for a 10-month contract.

The role includes evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy to students with speech and language needs, in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff to develop IEPs. Responsibilities include determining eligibility, creating and implementing IEPs, monitoring progress toward goals, attending IEP meetings, and completing required

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or closely related field.
• Wisconsin DPI Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (#820).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Determine student eligibility for speech and language services through assessments and evaluations.
• Develop, create, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEPs.
• Monitor and assess progress toward communication goals.
• Attend IEP meetings with stakeholders and complete required documentation.
