Responsibilities include developing goals and treatment plans, recording progress per IEP minutes, training staff on SLP strategies and AAC, attending IEPs and meetings, and collaborating with families, district staff, and vendors. Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• State certification and licensure within 1 month of starting; must be current.
• Preference for at least 1 year of experience.
• Experience with AAC instruction and evaluation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Evaluation and treatment of students with disorders in speech/language and cognition.
• Development of goals, objectives, treatment plans, and materials for treatment of speech/language and cognitive impairments, including activities, low-technology AAC, etc.
• Data recording in accordance with the students' IEP minutes and progress monitoring.
• Provides staff training on use of speech/language strategies and AAC systems to implement in the classrooms.
• Attendance at meetings including IEPs, weekly staffing, training/education teams, AAC programming, report-writing, and implementation.
• Communication with outside school district staff, families, and vendors.
• Participation in trauma-informed and therapeutic practices trainings.
