Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a bilingual School Speech-Language Pathologist for a local contract in Glendale, Arizona. The role focuses on bilingual evaluations, IEP development, and collaborative planning to support K–8 students throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

The position requires SLP credentials in Arizona, CCC with bilingual certification, and a Pediatric/school background. It offers 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, and a 41-week term with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Arizona Department of Education (DOE) Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
• Active Arizona Department of Health (DOH) Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with Bilingual Certification required.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card.
• Experience in a pediatric or school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bilingual speech and language evaluations for K–8 students, interpret assessment results, and develop comprehensive evaluation reports with recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students eligible for speech and language services.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals and provide consultation on effective intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, uphold confidentiality, and support compliance with applicable special education and licensing requirements.
