Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in La Grange, IL is hiring a full-time bilingual school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll conduct psychoeducational evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

The role requires a Master’s in School Psychology, IL PEL with School Psychologist endorsement, and fluency in Spanish; school-based experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology (or equivalent).
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
• Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual, fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff.
• Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs.
• Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports.
• Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations.
