Job summary

Rainier Prep is seeking an exceptional Operations Coordinator to support daily school operations and maintain strong relationships with students, families, staff, vendors, and community partners in the Seattle area.

The role emphasizes clear communication, system maintenance, and collaborative teamwork within a demanding school culture. Starting at an hourly rate, the position may require some evenings and weekends; Rainier Prep encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish.
• Strong technology skills with Google and Microsoft products.
• Ability to implement and maintain systems for operational excellence.
• Excellent relationship building and communication with diverse adults and students.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily school operations and relationships to enable teaching and learning.
• Manage main office communications, phones, messages, and inboxes across platforms.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required by supervisor.
• Participate in daily procedures (arrival, meals, dismissal) to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Assist in school food service and compliance with regulations, standards.
