Qualifications

• Background and driving requirements as per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical health room duties as directed.
• Maintains and updates student health records and emergency contact information.
• Keeps immunization records and CIS/COE certificates current.
• Assists in care of ill or injured students following district guidelines; refers issues to nurse.
• Administers medications and delegated tasks after training.
• Communicates with families about health requirements and follow-up with physicians as needed.
• Maintains health and supply stock; distributes supplies to classrooms.
• Supports annual health screenings and related activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of health information.
