Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time School Based Therapist in Saint Louis, MO. You will provide individual, family, and group counseling in school settings, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with school staff and families to support students’ mental health goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, current licensure as LPC/LCSW/LMFT, and bilingual Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
• Must be bilingual, able to provide services in Spanish.
• Background check, driving record, abuse/ neglect, and fingerprint check.
• Onsite availability during school hours for school-based programs.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling within school settings to support students’ therapeutic goals.
• Conduct intake screenings and comprehensive assessments within required timelines to understand students’ needs.
• Determine diagnoses based on assessments and document findings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with state and agency requirements.
• Participate in clinical staffings and treatment meetings to share insights about student progress.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure authorizations and documentation.
• Document services clearly and within required time frames.
• Support transitions for students with summaries and correspondence as needed.
• Respond to crisis situations and coordinate emergency services.
• Provide training and clinical guidance to team members as eligible.
• Maintain relationships with schools, referral sources, students, and families.
