Sanitation Technician Team Lead (Bilingual)
Location:Indianapolis, IN
Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly with Benefits
Pay: $24 – $27 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 3:30 PM – Midnight (overtime and later end times possible based on business needs)

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, motivated bilingualSanitation Technician Team Lead to oversee our off-shift sanitation team. In this leadership role, you'll ensure that all production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet food safety standards and compliance requirements. You’ll be a key player in supporting food safety, quality, and operational excellence by training and directing a team of sanitation technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support sanitation team members with task assignments, direction, and training

  • Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety standards, and sanitation SOPs

  • Oversee nightly cleaning of equipment and production areas, including disassembly/reassembly

  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and document sanitation activities

  • Ensure proper PPE use and safe chemical handling

  • Report equipment issues and contribute to ongoing sanitation improvements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred)

  • Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and chemical safety

  • Comfortable working in wet/humid environments and with power industrial equipment

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred

  • Must be available for evening/night shifts and occasional weekends
