Job Description
This is a part‑time role with pay starting at $23.00 hourly. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required. The selected individual will work at Store #708079: 1436 NW Leary Way, Seattle, WA 98107.
The Branch Coordinator works closely with commercial paint customers to identify their needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend solutions, promptly resolve customer concerns, and maintain high visual standards of the store.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain precise work‑order files and formulas
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications
- Stock shelves and set up displays
- Clean store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks
- Assist in making deliveries as needed
- Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Suggest ways to improve sales
Minimum Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication in Spanish
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- For current Sherwin‑Williams employees: a “meets expectations” rating on most recent performance appraisal
- For current Sherwin‑Williams employees: completion of all required HR Cloud eLearning courses
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
- Previous experience selling paint and paint‑related products
- Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
