Responsibilities

  • Process wires, cash checks, loans, and sell company products such as money orders, bill payments, lottery tickets and online services.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers and direct them to appropriate services.
  • Count and balance cash drawers; verify balance with the system and handle cash accurately.
  • Process deposits to and from the bank; manage cash handling and courier delivery.
  • Identify and recommend additional products and services to meet customer needs; use company materials to promote offerings.
  • Comply with company, state, and federal policies; protect client confidentiality and report suspicious activity.
  • Keep track of shift transactions and related information using company systems.
  • Support marketing initiatives when needed, such as distributing promotional materials or assisting with campaigns, maintaining professionalism and brand alignment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum experience and requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must speak Spanish fluently and at least basic English communication.
  • Ability using computer’s keyboard (letters and numbers) and computer mouse.
  • Detail oriented especially when reading, writing, and counting numbers and currency.

Work Demands
  • Open sales floor or a supermarket customer service booth.
  • The environment in this position may vary based on the location of the store. It is expected that the noise level in commercial locations is at a moderate level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transaction Processing
  • Wires, cash checks, loans, and sell various company products like money orders, bill payments, lottery tickets and online sales, top- ups and reloads.
Customer Service
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate for their needs.
Cash Management
  • Each shift associate must count and balance cash drawers, verify balance with the system, and handle cash responsibly to prevent errors and maintain accuracy.Process deposits from and to the bank. Handling of cash received and delivering by agents.
Cross-Selling
  • Identify and recommend additional company products and services that meet customer needs, cross-selling focused on meeting goals. Use available company materials (flyers or prizes) to promote and offer the company's products.
Compliance & Security
  • Comply with company, state and federal policies and regulations, maintain client confidentiality and identify and report any inappropriate or suspicious activity.
Record Keeping
  • Keep track of all shift transactions and other relevant information using the company's systems or procedures.
Marketing & Promotion
  • Support company marketing initiatives when required, such as distributing flyers, sharing promotional materials with customers, or assisting with in-store and out-of-store campaigns, always ensuring professionalism and alignment with company branding.
Other Tasks
  • Other tasks of a similar nature, scope, or level of responsibility as assigned by Management (e.g., assisting with in-store and out-of-store promotions, supporting marketing initiatives, or helping with operational improvements).
Physical Demands
  • Frequent sitting and operating of computers, phone, calculator.
  • Hand manipulation: Use of hands to grab, organize, turn things, and related (20% to 50% of the time).
  • Observing, listening, and talking to customers and coworkers (70% of the time)
