Job summary

NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. in East Liberty, OH is seeking a Bilingual Safety and Training Coordinator (English/Spanish) to coordinate and support weekly safety training, quality and environmental activities under the Senior Manager.

You will lead safety initiatives, audits, and new associate orientation, develop training materials, supervise first aid program, and promote a proactive safety culture across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous safety role in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 9001/14001 helpful.
• Ability to analyze safety situations and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing safety/quality programs to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Lead continuous improvement and safety vision initiatives.
• Coordinate and deliver safety, environmental, and corporate training for new associates and ongoing needs.
• Provide safety audits for hazardous conditions and unsafe behaviors; use ergonomic assessments as needed.
• Support selection of safety equipment, PPE, and certifications for associates.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching and engagement with staff.
• Interact with managers and associates to identify and correct unsafe practices.
• Maintain and utilize incident management systems; follow up on changes for compliance.
• Lead first aid program and emergency response training; support drills and organizational readiness.
• Develop and organize training for safety, process, and related topics.
