Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is actively seeking a bilingual Safety Manager to support projects across the region. Travel and diverse job sites offer opportunities to impact safety culture and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong field experience, OSHA/MSHA certifications and the ability to lead safety initiatives while coordinating with project teams. This position entails on-site supervision with travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in safety management.
• Must have completed OSHA 30; OSHA 500 preferred.
• Certifications MSHA and HAZWOPER may be required at some sites.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly with team and supervisors.
• Ability to perform basic math and lift up to 50 pounds; work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Observe job performance and identify hazards to ensure OSHA/MSHA/EPA compliance.
• Communicate safety findings to management and peer Safety Managers.
• Conduct post-accident investigations and recommend preventive actions.
• Assist in accident documentation and safety program development.
• Plan and coordinate programs to reduce injuries and losses.
• Visit job sites weekly to conduct audits and address hazards.
