Job summary

A construction company based in Texas is seeking a dedicated Project Safety Manager to develop and implement safety programs compliant with OSHA and local regulations. Responsibilities include conducting jobsite safety inspections, facilitating training for personnel, and maintaining safety records. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in safety management, strong communication skills, and an OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation. This full-time role requires travel between projects.

Qualifications

• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• At least 3 years of safety experience or equivalent education.
• Working knowledge of safety/environment principles.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation required.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractor representatives.
• Facilitate training for site personnel to meet safety standards.
• Conduct daily and weekly jobsite inspections and record findings.
• Investigate all incidents and generate proper reports.
• Maintain all required safety records.
