Job summary

Easy Foods is seeking a Safety Manager to lead occupational health and safety across manufacturing, maintenance, sanitation, warehousing, and facility operations. You’ll be the go-to safety expert, collaborating with Operations, HR, and Quality to identify hazards, implement controls, and foster a safety culture on every shift.

The role requires 5+ years in safety/EHS within food manufacturing or related settings, with proven OSHA program experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, EHS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety/EHS experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Experience with OSHA programs, LOTO, machine guarding, HazCom and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as site expert on OSHA requirements and inspection readiness.
• Own Lockout/Tagout program including procedures and training.
• Lead machine guarding, risk assessments, and startup reviews.
• Conduct hazard assessments, JHAs/JSAs, inspections, and Gemba walks.
• Investigate incidents using root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
