Job summary

dfwHR seeks a Safety Specialist to support safety operations across two Texas business units, combining program management, employee training, incident investigations, and field safety oversight. The role requires regular office presence in Georgetown and up to 60% regional travel across Texas.

You will partner with operational leadership to strengthen safety practices, implement established programs, and promote a proactive safety culture across growing regional operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years construction safety experience and proven safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior safety leadership to implement and sustain safety programs across multiple locations.
• Assist in integrating established safety management systems into newly acquired operations.
• Coordinate and deliver approximately three major in-person safety trainings annually, including first aid and CPR.
• Develop and update safety documentation and training materials.
• Conduct jobsite safety observations, inspections, and audits.
• Lead investigations into workplace injuries and incidents, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Analyze safety metrics and KPIs and report findings to leadership.
