Job summary

LPC Personnel, Inc is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator in Houston to promote a safe and compliant work environment within a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on monitoring safety, conducting inspections, and ensuring OSHA compliance across operations.

The candidate will conduct incidents investigations, provide training, and maintain documentation while supporting emergency response and safety initiatives. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; safety certifications are a plus.
• 2+ years of safety, supervisory, or leadership experience.
• 1+ year of industrial safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operations for OSHA compliance and company safety policies.
• Conduct facility inspections and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns; recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training, guidance, and coaching to employees.
• Ensure proper PPE use and safe work practices.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation.
• Assist with emergency response and communicate safety concerns to management.
