Job summary

Sun Com in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to drive in-store sales and deliver high quality customer service. You will exceed monthly quotas, promote handsets and rate plans, and follow company guidelines for performance and appearance.

The role requires 18+ years old, full-time hours (at least 30 hours/week), and reliable transportation for location and training. Bilingual Spanish is preferred and benefits are offered with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 4 days/30 hours per week.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have reliable transportation to location, training and off-site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Exceed monthly sales quotas.
• Deliver complete, high quality sales that exceed the company's benchmark on key metrics.
• Drive sales of handsets, rate plans, features and accessories per management guidance.
• Practice behaviors to generate and maximize sales and key metrics.
• Serve as a role model and assist new hires and peers.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by management.
• Adhere to policies and paperwork procedures.
• Master required systems (Aktivate, ADP, Cricket Learning, etc.).
• Review sales paperwork for discrepancies and errors.
• Follow cash depositing procedures and assume responsibility for deficiencies caused by error or negligence.
• Protect and maintain company assets.
• Open/close store with accurate checklists and zero errors.
• Communicate inventory deficiencies to supervisors promptly.
• Safeguard codes and passwords.

Education

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
