Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician (Part-time, bilingual Spanish) for our North Hudson Community Pharmacy in West New York, NJ. This part-time/PRN role covers Thursdays and PTO as needed, with main location in West New York and coverage for Passaic site as required.

You will assist pharmacists in preparing and delivering prescription medications, maintain patient relationships, and support pharmacy operations with 340B compliance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish required.
• PTCB certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.
• 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• 340B experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
• Be available to customers/patients at all times.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Organize medications for pharmacist, profile prescriptions, prepare labels, and calculate quantities.
• Deliver medications to patients and order stock as needed.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure best practices, including 340B compliance.
