Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED by graduation year is required.
• 1-2 years post-secondary education and/or cash handling, customer service, banking experience preferred.
• Promotional path from Retail Banker to Retail Banking Specialist.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and internet required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances and cashier's checks.
• Verify checks, identify counterfeit currency, and review transaction accuracy.
• Identify fraudulent activity and report to management.
• Balance cash drawers and process vault/Cash deposits; assist ATM operations.
• Promote bank products and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and operate banking systems.
• Attend retail training and perform duties on-site as required.
