Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.
• Any retail experience (desired).
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing) (desired).
• Promote trust and respect among associates (desired).
• Answer questions about products and assist customers across the store (desired).
• Know products and respond to questions, making suggestions (desired).
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials (desired).
• Check product quality and maintain freshness (desired).
• Label, stock and inventory merchandise and provide fresh products (desired).
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager (desired).
• Display a positive attitude (desired).
• Stay current with ads (desired).
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature logs (desired).
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions (desired).
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed (desired).
• Notify management of accidents (desired).
