Qualifications
- Applicants must have a J.D. and active bar license.
- 2–4 years immigration law experience.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented; committed to immigrant rights.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master and individual hearings.
- Prepare and file asylum, cancellation of removal, motions, and appeals.
- Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to prepare strong factual and legal records.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients in Spanish and English.
- Conduct legal research, draft briefs and memoranda, and develop litigation strategies.
- Participate in training and case strategy sessions.
