Legacy Community Health is hiring a Bilingual Telephone Triage RN to join a visionary team delivering patient-centered care through expert telephone triage. You will direct calls, assess urgency, and provide education and guidance to patients in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program with active Texas RN licensure.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of three years RN experience; family medicine preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly required.
• Nursing triage experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent and emergency calls with a focus on best-practice guidelines for optimal care.
• Use telephone triage strategies to direct patients to appropriate care levels.
• Collaborate with an agile clinical team to prioritize patient needs.
• Accurately gather and document critical patient information for provider decisions.
• Provide nursing advice and patient education using current protocols and tools.
• Assist in seamless care coordination while maintaining patient privacy and accurate documentation.
• Foster professional collaboration within the clinical team.
• Maintain efficient call handling with professionalism and cultural competence.
• Ensure unbiased care delivery and cost-effective treatment approaches.
