Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Japanese bilingual Relocation Consultant in Novi, MI to support corporate clients and expatriates with relocation services and real estate assistance.

The role combines client-facing consulting with proactive business development, including property searches, neighborhood tours, and lease negotiations. A Michigan Real Estate Salesperson License will be pursued within 3 months, with licensing costs covered by Staffmark, and sales incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business use.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in both Japanese and English (business level).
• Willingness to obtain Michigan Real Estate Salesperson License within the first three months; licensing costs covered by the organization.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when operational demands require.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive relocation services to clients, primarily expatriates, while conducting active sales outreach and visiting corporate clients.
• Conducting web consultations with clients prior to their relocation to understand needs and establish service plans.
• Assisting clients in finding, evaluating, and viewing properties, including introducing nearby neighborhoods and local amenities.
• Providing thorough destination information and complete settle-in services.
• Building professional relationships and negotiating lease terms with property owners and management companies.
• Reviewing contract details carefully and supporting clients throughout the entire move-in process.
• Planning and conducting informational seminars to attract potential clients and generate business leads.
• Utilizing personal vehicle for business-related travel when necessary (IRS mileage reimbursement provided).
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager.
