Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Registration as a Surgical Technologist if assisting in operating room.
• Registered Dental Assistant or EFDA certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at a level 10.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records, update medical history and vital signs as needed.
• Conduct complete patient X-ray procedures (panoramic, cephalometric, intraoral photos) and store X‑rays in the EDR.
• Set up and record periodontal charting per Provider instruction.
• Prepare and set up instruments and equipment for patient exams.
• Assist in infection control and cross‑contamination prevention.
• Provide education on oral hygiene for patients in clinic and mobile unit programs.
• Assist in orthodontics tasks as needed (records, bite registrations, models).
