Job summary

Harmony Healthcare Long Island is seeking a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to join our Long Island team. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and will supervise LPNs and Medical Assistants, coordinate patient care plans, and ensure high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care across our centers in Nassau County.

The ideal candidate holds NY RN licensure, 3–5 years of healthcare experience, and is fluent in English; Spanish or Creole is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; RN licensure in NY required.
• 3‑5 years of healthcare experience, supervisory preferred.
• Licensed RN in New York state; CPR (BCLS) required; Infection Control certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural and linguistic sensitivity; bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole.
• Familiar with computers (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized patient care program within the health center.
• Provides supervision to LPNs and MAs; collaborates with providers.
• Monitors patient progress and documents health status and plan.
• Communicates and documents patient health status and plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation of medical history, treatments, and outcomes.
• Administers vaccines/immunizations and responds to emergencies.
• Instructs patients and families; supports health education and promotion.
• Assists in development of health improvement programs.
