Job summary

Community Dental Partners is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists during treatments, exams and discussions with patients in a busy Boerne, TX practice. You will perform general RDA duties in collaboration with team members, delivering quality customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include patient prep, digital charting, radiography, room setup/sterilization, treatment support, scheduling, HIPAA compliance, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Texas issued Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring and coronal polishing certifications preferred if 2+ years experience (company provides courses).
• Digital x-ray and digital charting experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
• Capture quality x-ray images.
• Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
• Discuss treatment options and follow up recommended care.
• Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures (with required certifications).
• Support with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested.
• Sterilize instruments and follow cross contamination standards.
• Create a positive patient environment and engage patients before, during and after visits.
• Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions.
• Assist patients with company-provided prizes and dismissal.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
