Job summary

Community Dental Partners is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the Dentist during treatments, exams and discussions with patients. You will perform general RDA duties in collaboration with the team, focusing on quality service and professional relationships with patients.

This full-time role requires licensing in Texas for RDA, digital charting and x-ray experience, and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the practice.

Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing required.
• Digital x-ray and Digital Charting experience preferred.
• Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing certifications preferred (if 2+ years experience, courses provided)

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, complete digital charting and verify codes.
• Capture quality x-ray images.
• Assist dentist with treatment procedures.
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
• Discuss treatment options and follow-up care.
• Polish teeth and place sealants (certs required).
• Schedule patient appointments as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain cross-contamination controls.
• Create positive patient environments with engagement before, during, and after visits.
• Provide post-care instructions to patients and guardians.
• Assist with prizes and patient dismissal.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
