Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate to deliver recovery-oriented, trauma-informed support for individuals with behavioral health needs. The role operates within a multidisciplinary team and emphasizes advocacy, crisis prevention, and linkage to community services.

Responsibilities include facilitating groups, conducting assessments, coordinating care, and supporting clients through recovery journeys with a focus on empowerment and self-efficacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification required or must obtain full certification within 6 months.
• Provisional CRPA accepted; must obtain full certification within 6 months.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred; excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative and recovery-oriented interventions for clients with substance use disorders.
• Promote coping skills and manage behavioral health symptoms.
• Provide relapse prevention planning and group facilitation.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and assist with referrals.
• Advocate for clients to obtain benefits and access community services.
