Job summary

The Staff Pad in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Bilingual Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Floater to support multiple sites. The role combines clinical duties with administrative tasks, including preparing patients, assisting with restorative and surgical procedures, taking X-rays, sterilizing, and maintaining records.

Candidates must be bilingual, hold an RDA license, have CPR certification, and be able to work full-time or part-time, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; RDA license.
• 1 year of RDA experience; CPR certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional patient experience and address patient concerns.
• Pass instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures and maintain a clear treatment field.
• Escort patients and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Prepare procedure trays; maintain operatory supplies; sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Take adult and pediatric X-rays; prepare impression and restoration materials.
• Educate patients on postoperative care and oral hygiene techniques.
• Document patient charts and doctor notes; ensure treatment records and consents are completed.
• Enter prescriptions and patient information into the EHR.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and work-related events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
