St. John’s Community Health seeks a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant Floater in Los Angeles, CA. The RDA assists the Dentist, prepares patients and materials, and takes dental radiographs while maintaining infection control and chart records. Bilingual English/Spanish is required to communicate with diverse patients.

Responsibilities include chairside assisting, preparing trays, sterilizing instruments, and supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling and billing as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year RDA experience.
• Medical Technology knowledge.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required (read, write and speak).

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in delivering patient-centered care and supporting the dentist during treatments.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with restorative dentistry or oral surgery.
• Take and process dental radiographs and maintain radiographic records.
• Prepare materials/equipment for procedures and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of operatory and comply with infection control standards.
• Document patient charts and ensure doctor signs treatment records and consents.
