Job summary

Solecta, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager in Oceanside, CA to lead QA, QC, and continuous quality improvement in a discrete manufacturing environment. You will manage Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspection staff to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, fluent English/Spanish, and 10+ years in quality with 3+ years of people management. On-site work with opportunities to drive cross-functional improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related technical functions within discrete manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of direct people-management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of quality management systems, MRB, CCB, RGA, CAPA, FMEA, and structured root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading customer audits, supplier quality initiatives, and complex corrective action investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop Quality Engineering, Quality Technicians, and Inspection personnel.
• Establish quality objectives, performance metrics, accountability, and improvement plans.
• Oversee QA, QC, and process controls to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.
• Drive yield improvement, reduction of scrap/rework, and COPQ.
• Lead MRB and CCB processes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Prepare professional quality reports and corrective action responses in English and Spanish.
