WellPower in Denver, CO is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse I – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments, and treatment within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Colorado LPN license. Experience with serious and persistent mental illness is preferred. Work Location: 4455 E 12th Ave, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm; base pay $30.12–$31.62 per hour, with a $2.50/hr bilingual differential.

Qualificações

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Colorado Board of Nursing.
• 1–3 years of experience working with patients with serious and persistent mental illness (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Provide psychological problem identification and crisis interventions.
• Provide limited case management services as needed.
• Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate use of WellPower programs and outside resources.
• Coordinate medical care with clinical staff and psychiatrists.
• Administer medications including intramuscular injections.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Participate in team meetings and supervision.
• Maintain a trauma-informed environment.
