Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Psychiatric Technician to provide direct nursing support to clients with severe mental illness, including medication education and coordination with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Qualified LVN or Psychiatric Technician licensed in California.
• Bilingual Spanish/English communication abilities preferred.
• Experience with mental health nursing and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing services to clients with SMI and dual diagnosis.
• Educate clients and treatment team about medications and treatments.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacists on medication adjustments.
• Document clinical notes and maintain EMR records accurately.
• Administer injections as ordered and monitor self-administration.
• Visit clients in homes, facilities, or community placements per plan.
