We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, performance, and financial success of an assigned property portfolio. This leadership role supervises on-site Leasing Agents and property teams while ensuring strong occupancy, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and an excellent resident experience.
The Property Manager will work closely with the Portfolio Manager to support business growth, team development, and operational success.
Operations
Oversee daily property operations and enforce company policies.
Monitor occupancy, rent collections, and delinquency.
Conduct regular property and site inspections.
Ensure consistent operational standards across assigned properties.
Financial Management
Support property budgets and review financial reports and KPIs.
Identify revenue opportunities and areas for improvement.
Assist with capital planning and provide performance updates to leadership.
Team Leadership
Supervise, mentor, and onboard Leasing Agents and site teams.
Conduct performance evaluations.
Build a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment.
Leasing & Marketing
Monitor occupancy trends and leasing performance.
Collaborate on marketing strategies.
Evaluate market conditions and pricing.
Monitor and manage online reputation.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord/tenant regulations, and safety requirements.
Support audits and inspections.
Handle escalated resident concerns and legal matters.
Maintenance
Partner with maintenance teams regarding work orders and unit turns.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and vendor relationships.
Assist with capital improvement projects.
1+ year of property management experience; large-site or supervisory experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord/tenant regulations.
Experience with property financials and budgets.
AppFolio, Tenant Tech, PropertyMELD, and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.
Reliable transportation required.
$28.85 – $36.06/hour DOE ($60,000 – $75,000/year)
