Job summary

Novin Construction is seeking a bilingual Project Engineer (English/Spanish) in Walnut Creek, CA to support the Project Manager on public works and affordable housing projects. You will assist with document management, risk management, and client relations, with occasional travel required.

The role requires a degree in Construction Management (preferred), 1–4 years in affordable housing/public works, and bilingual capability. Competitive benefits and a salary range of $65,000–$85,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, or related field, preferred.
• 1-4 years of experience in affordable housing/public works preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Candidates must have basic knowledge of general building trades and sequence of work, project financials and cost procedures, and EH&S practices.
• Key competencies include initiative, communication, teamwork, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project files and flow of information for assigned projects.
• Manage as-built drawings.
• Keep all jobsite and field plans up to date.
• Manage RFIs.
• Take meeting minutes at Foreman, OAC, pre-task, and general meetings as required.
• Conduct meetings when needed.
• Attend company and industry events including meetings, trainings, workshops, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned or needed.
