Job summary

CalOptima in Orange, CA is seeking a Program Specialist (Bilingual) to support Community Health initiatives and member engagement. You will help coordinate programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with providers and stakeholders in a flexible, partly telework-enabled role.

The ideal candidate has a public health or health admin background, bilingual English with a threshold language, and at least one year of coordination experience; strong data interpretation skills are a plus,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health care, health administration or related field plus 1 year of program coordination experience.
• Bilingual in English and one of CalOptima Health's threshold languages (Arabic, Farsi, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese).
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Community Health programs, projects and initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, track deliverables and assist reporting requirements.
• Engage with members to gather insights and inform program improvements.
• Collaborate with internal departments, community organizations and providers.
• Support evening and weekend events as needed.
