Job summary

Aerovent in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Production Associate to support department training, quality checks, and lean improvements across the value stream. You will help implement 5S, assist with setup reductions, and maintain a safe, efficient work area.

You will collaborate with operations leaders, participate in daily performance metrics, and help ensure on-time production of deliverables while upholding ISO-9000 procedures and team values.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (policies, procedures, work instructions).
• Strong verbal communication with co-workers.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
• Team-oriented to achieve company objectives.
• Confidentiality of employee information must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with department training plan, progress, and cross-training.
• Ensure quality checks and paperwork are complete before product leaves department.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Assist with 5S improvements, Visual Factory improvements, and changeover/setup reductions.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment with good housekeeping.
