Job summary

TransPak is seeking a Production Supervisor to serve as the main liaison between production employees on the manufacturing floor and management. The role partners with the division’s management team and HR to hire, train, and coach staff, as well as assist in staffing forecasts.

The ideal candidate will supervise daily workflow, forecast staffing needs, ensure productivity and quality standards, and coordinate with HR on vacations, time cards, overtime, and training.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in supervising and motivating direct reports, including training and corrective action.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both orally and written.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedules daily workflow for employees and materials for Day Shift or Swing Shift.
• Supervises all production activities and maintains visibility on the floor.
• Forecasts staffing needs and trains, coaches, and disciplines staff with guidance from Production Manager.
• Maintains department standards for productivity, quality, reliability, on-time delivery, and accuracy.
• Coordinates with quality control to maintain quality standards and address deficiencies.
• Collaborates with HR and Division General Management on vacations, time cards, overtime, hiring, and training.
