Qualifications

• 5+ years in Production Planning or Production Management.
• Experience creating and managing production schedules in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Experience coordinating with customers to balance requirements and delivery.
• Proven leadership of manufacturing teams.
• Experience using ERP/MRP for planning and inventory control.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet demand and delivery goals.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and manufacturing to align plans.
• Monitor capacity, labor use, and inventory for efficient ops.
• Lead and supervise 50+ fabrication employees with accountability.
• Forecast demand and support material planning and resource allocation.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and prepare schedules.
• Ensure on-time orders and mitigate delays or disruptions.
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency and satisfaction.
• Verify production output against specifications and quality standards.
• Produce reports on performance, scheduling, inventory, and service levels.
• Manage departmental P&L and budgeting as needed.
• Oversee safety and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Coach and develop staff, promoting accountability and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and quality standards.
