Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience as a Physician Assistant in a Primary Care Setting.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients’ health status through diagnostic procedures and tests.
• Prescribes medications under the supervision of the Medical Director.
• Provides patient education for all medical conditions seen at the practice.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

Ability to analyze patient history

Interpersonal skills

Bilingual English/Spanish

Education

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Bachelor's degree
