Job summary

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct primary care to patients within the scope of state laws and LCDF policies. You will build diagnostic/treatment plans, educate patients, and collaborate with care teams across multiple LCDF sites in Southern New Mexico.

Applicants should be licensed as a NM NP or eligible, with board certification in primary care. DEA and NM Pharmacy certs are preferred; a valid NM Driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice or eligible.
• Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
• DEA and NM Pharmacy certifications.
• Current NM Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
• Graduate from Nurse Practitioner program.
• Primary care training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care health services to LCDF patients.
• Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with staff and patients.
• Collaborate with resources agencies as needed.
