ADAPT Community Network seeks a Preschool School Psychologist to join our team at their Clearview School, supporting children with developmental disabilities. This full-time, 12-month position runs Monday–Friday from 8am–3pm.

Under supervision, the psychologist will evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions, monitor treatment plans, and coordinate with families and staff to implement goals.

Formación

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with coworkers, families, and outside contacts.
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality.
• Knowledge of standard psychometric assessment instruments.
• Willing to work at various program sites.

Responsabilidades

• Provides psychological assessment on individuals annually in areas of intelligence and adaptive behavior.
• Develops a treatment plan and goals based on an assessment.
• Provides psychological services as prescribed by a treatment plan in behavior management, counseling, crisis intervention, etc.
• Integrates therapeutic intervention techniques into programs or the home of person served through consultation with parent/guardian and staff.
• Records progress on all active cases in therapy and monitors therapy status.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews for planning and monitoring of individual plans.
• Participates in pre-admission evaluations.
• Assists with arrival and dismissal, feeding, restroom use, and classroom management.
