Job summary

Georgetown Hill Early School in Maryland is seeking a bilingual Lead Teacher fluent in English and Spanish to join our growing program.

You will design engaging days using our P.L.A.N. curriculum—woven with English-Spanish instruction—to help children become bilingual and build strong relationships with families.

The role requires 3–5 years of classroom experience, a bachelor's degree, and a warm, patient demeanor as you guide young learners toward safe, joyful growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required
• MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Preschool Endorsement required (minimum)
• Fluency in English and Spanish required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills expected
• Knowledge of MSDE regulations and child development principles beneficial

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily activities using the P.L.A.N. curriculum with English-Spanish instruction
• Build strong, trusting bonds with students and their families
• Own classroom management to create a positive, consistent environment
• Support each child’s physical, social-emotional, and developmental growth
• Communicate clearly and warmly with families and colleagues in both languages
