Job summary

Clarvida seeks a Pre-Licensed Therapist for our Bakersfield program. As a Pre-Licensed Therapist, you will provide individual, group, family and couples counseling to help clients improve independence, social development and vocational outcomes.

You will empower families and support client success on-site in Bakersfield, CA. This role requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field, CA registration as an associate, and at least two years of mental health

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited school
• Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, family and couples counseling services.
• Support clients to improve personal, social, educational and vocational development.
• Work to ensure mental health treatment services maximize client independence.
