Job summary

Bensenville School District 2 is seeking a qualified Pre-K Dual Language Long-Term Substitute Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The assignment begins approximately February 24, 2027, and runs through the end of the school year (up to 12 weeks).

You will provide high-quality instruction in English and Spanish, maintain a safe, nurturing classroom, and collaborate with the Pre‑K team, dual language staff, and families to support early learning.

Qualifications

• Valid PEL for the assignment required.
• Bilingual Spanish language proficiency required.
• Early childhood endorsement preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with early learning standards.
• Support language development in English and Spanish within the district dual language model.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse developmental needs.
• Collaborate with Pre‑K team, dual language colleagues, support staff, and families.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
