The ideal candidate has a valid Illinois PEL, is bilingual, and possesses or aspires to an early childhood endorsement. Collaboration with the Pre-K team and families is essential to student growth and a nurturing classroom

Qualifications

• Requires fluency in Spanish and English to support bilingual dual language instruction.
• Experience working in dual language or bilingual education settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills essential for family and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K instruction aligned with standards.
• Support English and Spanish language development within the dual language program.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse developmental needs of young learners.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, structured classroom environment.
• Collaborate with Pre-K team, dual language colleagues, support staff, and families.
• Document student progress and milestones; complete required records and documentation.
• Participate in PD, meetings, and school activities; support district goals.
