Job summary

Spring Independent School District in Houston, TX seeks a bilingual Pre-K 3 Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role supports the Pre-kindergarten classroom, assists teachers, and helps manage student records and materials. Schedule includes 187 days with a starting pay of about $20,944 per year.

Prefer candidates with an Associate’s Degree or higher, or 48 semester hours, or an Educational Aide II Certificate. Overtime may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; alternative credentials accepted.
• Associate’s Degree or 48 semester hours or equivalent assessment.
• Educational Aide II Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with implementation of lesson plans.
• Maintain classroom equipment, student files and records.
• Assist in monitoring individual students, classroom and/or playground activities.
• Perform record keeping, scheduling, and copying.
• Assist in administering tests to evaluate students’ progress.
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
