Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking an experienced logistics professional to drive production planning operations and transportation management. You will negotiate rates and terms with carriers, collaborate with Sales, 3PL, and customers, and focus on cost efficiency and service metrics across LG's transportation network.

Candidates should have 5+ years in production planning and strong knowledge of truckload and LTL, plus proficiency in MS Excel, TMS/WMS/YMS tools, and bilingual English/Korean

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in production planning operations preferred.
• Extensive knowledge within the transportation industry. Truckload and LTL experience & contract review for terms & conditions.
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills; TMS, WMS, YMS experience a plus.
• Bilingual English and Korean required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate transportation rates and contract terms and conditions for LG.
• Support activities to improve cost efficiency and service metrics.
• Monitor and manage health level of all operations aspects.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, 3PL, carriers and customers.
• Review performance and corrective action plans with carriers as needed.

• Negotiations for better transportation rates and also negotiations for better contract terms and conditions for LG is required
• The activities support for better cost efficiency & increase service metrics.
• Continuously thrive for better way to monitor and manage health level of all aspects of* operations
• Works cross functional with Sales, 3PL,carriers and customers.
• Reviewing performance and corrective action plans as needed, talk to carriers daily

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years experience in production planning operations preferred
• Extensive knowledge within the transportation industry. Must have truckload , LTL transportation management experience & transportation contract review for terms & conditions experience.
• MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word skills needed. TMS, WMS, YMS experience a plus.
• Bilingual (English and Korean) required
