Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine LLC in California is seeking a Physical Therapist Technician to support Physical Therapists and Assistants, helping with patient intake, treatment area prep, and clinic maintenance. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Starting pay is $22.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Outpatient or healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Therapists in preparing treatment area, equipment and materials.
• Prepare patients for physical therapy by welcoming them and assisting with attire.
• Assist patients with exercises and transfers under supervision.
• Educate patients regarding treatments and exercises.
• Observe patient performance and report concerns.
• Document patient responses and update files.
• Assist with basic treatments (ice/heat) as instructed.
• Sanitize equipment and maintain clinic safety standards.
• Perform administrative tasks like scheduling and calling patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
